What is so special about this gem is not only the size but the shape and incredible color. Sapphires are not often cut into a round cut because of the extra gem material that is lost in cutting and the faceting on this particular stone is very well done. The fine quality gem material and expert cutting work together to bring out the best color of the sapphire, a rich and vivid royal blue. This exceptional ring is both eye catching and very tastefully done. The sapphire is is enhanced by the fine quality diamonds that surround it. Simply dazzling! Small circle styled 'links' connect the sapphire with the band. The entire top surface of the ring is covered in diamonds! And on the sides of the ring, we've added an elegant swirled design to the gallery of the center stone and side diamond circles. The ring has a certain delicate quality to it because of the design and the small diamonds used in the setting.
