MyJewelrySource has a beautifully varied selection of pink sapphire rings. From classic styles to fancier designs, we believe we have a gorgeous pink sapphire ring for everyone. The quality of our gemstones, pink sapphires in this case, is what's most important to us. We hand select each and every gem and literally reject hundreds for each one we select. Our pink sapphires are natural, mined gemstones and come in a range of pink hues. Some of our favorites are the light pink sapphires that look like pink diamonds. These are soft and pretty and look great on any skin tone. We source sapphires which are eye clean (or better) and also have a great cut, so that they are lively and inviting. We have a trillion cut sapphire diamond halo ring, GR-5989, which is perfect for someone looking for a more unusual cut. The nice solid band and low profile makes this one easy to wear every day. Another example is our GR-5911 which features an oval cut light pink sapphire with a single row of diamonds in the band. Also having a low profile, this simple classic design is perfect for the lady who doesn't want anything big, ornate or fussy. For the ladies who love the intense hot pink hue of the finest quality sapphire, we offer GR-5945, a delightful antique style ring with the most spectacular 1.30 carat cushion cut hot pink sapphire. This sapphire has the color found in the finest quality sapphires. The engraving on the ring lends a heirloom feel to the design. We also have several pink sapphire rings featuring sapphires with a classic bubble gum hue. These include our princess cut sapphire ring, GR-5561, our heart shape sapphire and double diamond halo ring, PR-108, and our past present future design sapphire and diamond ring, GR-5541. Sapphires are the traditional gift for the fifth (5th) and forty-fifth (45th) wedding anniversaries and the birthstone for September.Buying a Sapphire: All in all, sapphires can be considered the ideal colored gemstone. Besides excelling in color selection, sapphires excel in durability with a rating of 9 on the Mohs scale of hardness. Sapphires in sizes of 1 carat and over are considered to be important. Some inclusions are accepted although certainly not as many as with ruby or emerald. Nearly all of the sapphires at MyJewelrySource.com are eye clean and most important, all are pleasing to the eye. We offer a wide range of colors from a traditional Ceylon blue, to rich lustrous royal blue, to many styles with pink, orange, and yellow sapphires. Care of Sapphires: Sapphire jewelry may be cleaned with a soft-bristled brush or a cloth with plain or soapy water. Be sure to clean your jewelry regularly. Dirt and grime can easily build up underneath the stones and it is important to clean your rings especially from the underside to keep the stones looking clear and sparkly. Since sapphires are tough and durable, they can withstand most cleaning methods, but MJS does not recommend them. For example, steaming and ultrasonic cleaning will not damage sapphires, but these methods may loosen the setting, and subsequently, stones may fall out. Sapphires must not be put in boiling hot water. Avoid exposure to hairspray, perfume and chlorine, which can dull gemstones.
