Citrine: There's just something about the color of fine
quality citrine that soothes your heart and puts a smile on your face.
The warm glow of the golden yellow-orange hue looks amazing in both
white and yellow gold. MyJewelrySource has a stunning collection of
citrine gemstone rings featuring various shapes and sizes. One of the
most important features of our citrine rings is the quality of the gold
setting. Our rings are cast in solid 14k gold and they are not thin or
hollowed out. You will be able to feel the quality on your finger. One
of our favorite classic designs in our
GR-2025 and
GR-2045. These rings
present a 8mm checkerboard faceted round citrine in a unique setting
accented with just a touch of diamonds. The design of the shank is
elegant and eye catching and we love that the ring doesn't need a lot of
diamonds to get noticed! This is definitely one to be worn and enjoyed
every day. If you prefer a slightly more ornate design, we have several
styles which feature antique style engraving on the band. These include
our past present future designs
GR-2078,
GR-2078-WS,
GR-2102 and
GR-2115. We also have two other designs that
have a few additional diamonds like our
GR-2071,
GR-2126 and
GR-2129.
Many of these were designed in house and you won't find them anywhere
else. In addition to the fine quality citrine we use in our rings, we
also use very fine quality diamonds. Our diamonds are near colorless and
eye clean which means that they are lively and brilliant! Citrine is the
alternate November Birthstone
and is the suggested
gift for the thirteenth
wedding
anniversary. Citrine is mined primarily in Brazil.
Citrine rates 6 1/2 to 7 on the Mohs scale
of hardness.Enhancements: Although cutting is the most basic enhancement method necessary to display the beauty of a gemstone,
there are many fascinating methods by which man has demonstrated his ability to draw maximum color, luster,
clarity and brilliance from natures earthbound treasures. A basic understanding of these enhancement techniques
will add to your appreciation of the beauty, durability and value of the
gemstone jewelry you already own, or plan to
purchase in the future. Some purple and brownish varieties of quartz are heated to permanently reveal the
bright yellow or sunshine orange colors known as citrine. The treatment is permanent and acceptable to the trade.
You should assume that the citrine sold at MyJewelrySource is treated unless stated otherwise.
