It features a gorgeous perfectly pink 6mm cushion cut sapphire with a lovely pastel bubble gum hue. The sapphire is better than eye clean and has an excellent cut, which contribute greatly to the liveliness and attractiveness of the gem. The halo setting holds 0.53 carats of fine diamonds; there are 16 brilliant cut round diamonds set around the sapphire and 6 on each side of the band. The setting has an open basket design which allows the light to pass through sapphire and dance among the facets. The profile (height of the stone off the finger) is just under 1/4" which makes this truly a wearable work of art.The basket of the setting tapers so that a contoured wedding band could be worn with this ring.
