First let's start with the sapphire, a fine quality Ceylon sapphire in a cushion cut with a gorgeous purple sapphire that has plenty of pink flashes. If the unique color wasn't special enough, the sapphire is also completely natural, unheated and untreated. The color you see is the color created naturally deep inside the Earth. Think about that for a minute. Wow, that is pretty cool. Sapphires are often found with visible inclusions but this particular gem is eye clean. And now the setting, well, it is just as special. Full of just over 1/2 carat of fine diamonds, the setting features antique style details from the filigree design below the center stone to the milgrain edging along the diamond channels.
