Wow, wow, wow. There is just something about this ring that is
impeccable, stunning, elegant, eye catching, and tasteful all at the same
time. Both the sapphire and the setting are quite special and we have only
one ring like this. The sapphire is a square cut, with simple rectangular
facets, which gives the stone a streamlined and understated appearance. But
that definitely doesn't mean boring or average. The sapphire is truly
exceptional with its amazing magenta color, eye and nearly 100% loupe
clean clarity, and the well proportioned cutting. In all our years of buying
sapphires, we have seen a small handful that have what you might call a 'X'
factor. And this sapphire definitely has it! We would be remiss if we didn't
rant and rave about the setting a bit too. First, the rose gold is an ideal
complement to the color of the sapphire. The diamonds are just the right
size, not to big and gaudy and not too small so you need a loupe to see them
clearly. The ring really sparkles and shimmers and there is no doubt that you
will find yourself admiring this ring on your finger quite regularly! The
split shank design lends a nice balance to the ring and it sits comfortably,
without flipping from side to side (as might happen with a ring with a skinny
band). The sides of the ring are set with diamonds and there's
lovely filigree detail in the gallery. And as another sign of the exceptional
quality of this ring, the undergallery is beautifully finished so the ring
feels smooth on the finger too. Sounds like a winner to us!
