The combination of the large size, gorgeous color, spectacular faceting and impeccable clarity makes this a truly special and rare gem. The sapphire is just over 3 carats in size and just dazzles as the focal point of this gorgeous ring. The radiant faceting is done very well and there is no window (where you can see right through the stone to your finger) in the stone. The color play throughout the gem is inviting; the sapphire has a soft forest green hue with flashes of mint green. It is not dark and dull nor it is too pale. We think it is just right. And even better than all of that is the fact that the sapphire is eye clean and loupe clean too. This is very rare for a sapphire of this size. We have set the sapphire in an elegant 18k white gold setting which prominently features the gem. The basket is adorned with tiny round diamonds and milgrain edging and four sets of double prongs hold the stone securely! The sapphire is flanked by pairs of large baguette diamonds and round diamonds adorn the shank. The diamonds are of very high quality and the white gold setting shows that to be true. To finish the look, a beautiful engraved pattern adorns the sides of the shank. This stunning ring is a one of a kind and cannot be duplicated.
