The aquamarine featured in this engagement ring is a 8mm cushion cut with a
gorgeous inviting rich sky blue color. This fine quality stone has a deeper
hue than the aquamarine readily found in the marketplace. The faceting of
the gem is very well done and the gem is much better than eye clean
(basically loupe clean). These factors result in a clear, lively gem. The
diamond weight of the setting is 1/2 carat. Just enough to add the enhance
the already beautiful aquamarine but not so much that the ring is gaudy or
flashy. The yellow gold ring mounting has prominent beaded detail on
the edges of the diamond channels and along the sides of the band. Notice
the filigree scroll undergallery below the aquamarine. This ring is impeccably finished
