setting is a warm and inviting backdrop for the beautiful rich red garnet.
The perfect touch of diamonds and unique detailing on the band create a very
memorable and striking design. The garnet is a nice size at 8mm, 2.7 carats.
It has a beautiful rich reddish burgundy color. The color saturation is just
perfect, not too light where the gem looks washed out and not too intense
where the gem looks dark and unappealing. The garnet is eye clean and
beautifully faceted with brilliant style facets on the pavilion (bottom) and
checkerboard faceting on the crown (top). The diamond weight of the setting
is 1/2 carat. Just enough to add the desired sparkle and wow factor but not
so much that the ring is gaudy or flashy. The ring has striking
milgrain detail and filigree scroll work across the bottom of the garnet and
then down the shank, there is complimentary beadwork so the ring is finished
