This setting was custom designed to create a large yet wearable, eye-catching ring for this truly amazing 7.29 carat pink sapphire. The sapphire is natural, untreated and unheated and it is also eye clean which is also very rare for a sapphire of this size. Sapphires like this come around once every few years so this sapphire is very special. The color is absolutely gorgeous, a breathtaking and dazzling light pink, just like that of a pink diamond. The sapphire has a modified brilliant cut, an unusual cut for a sapphire, and this results in a very lively and sparkly gem. This sapphire is truly a one of a kind. The diamonds set around the sapphire bring just the right amount of sparkle to the sapphire. The rest of the ring is covered with an outstanding hand engraved design which finishes the look elegantly. We love that even though this is a large ring, it is very wearable and not overly flashy. The hand engraved detail is unique and gives the ring a certain vintage feel. At every angle, you will see impeccable workmanship and beautiful design details. Milgrain edging (beaded detail) has been added surrounding the diamond halo and along the shank. The band tapers slightly at the back and the profile (height off the finger) is low, both making this a very comfortable, wearable ring. | ||
