Having a color that is among the most prized for yellow sapphire, this rare and unique gem is completely natural and untreated. This color, a gorgeous canary yellow, came straight from the Earth. And besides the rarity of being untreated, this sapphire is also important due to its substantial size, at 3.17 carats, and unusual clarity, completely eye clean and very nearly loupe clean too. The combination of the color, size and clarity makes for an impressive, lively gem! The diamond halo setting, with the 18 fine diamonds that surround the sapphire and 7 on each side of the band, helps draw the eyes right to the focal point. The setting has an open basket design which allows a lot of light to pass through and reflect from the sapphire. This also contributes to the sparkle and from a practical standpoint, allows the ring to be cleaned easily. You will have no trouble keeping this gorgeous ring looking as good in the future as it does the day you receive it.The optional matching band has a gentle contour at the center and will sit close against the sapphire ring. | ||
