And the transparency of the gem is excellent too. Yes, the emerald does have inclusions, which is common and characteristic of the gem. But the inclusions are minor and in our opinion, do not detract in the slightest from the amazing beauty of the gem. The diamond halo setting elegantly enhances the emerald and draws the attention right to the deserving focal point. There are also 6 diamonds on each side of the band. The setting has a nice durable gram weight so this is a ring that can easily be worn every day. Notice the flat sides of the shank.
