This elegant yellow sapphire engagement ring features a one of a kind 2.73
carat natural and unheated squarish cushion cut Ceylon sapphire. The
sapphire has been evaluated by the GIA to confirm its lack of heat
treatment. The sapphire has an inviting lemon buttery yellow color. We think
this is the perfect color for sapphire. Not too bright or orange and not too
pale either. It just glows amidst the backdrop of the fine quality diamonds
that surround it. The sapphire has a fine cut so it is also very lively,
something that Ceylon sapphires are known for. That's one of the reasons we
like them so much! The setting showcases the
sapphire perfectly since it is encrusted with diamonds that surround the sapphire and then
more diamonds are bead set on three sides down the band. The side gallery has an elegant openwork design, also
accented with diamonds. The milgrain edging adds a vintage feel to the piece, and the ring is finished off with a
beautiful undergallery. The band has been designed to nestle perfectly against the sapphire engagement ring. It has diamonds on two sides and beautiful scalloped filigree detail on the inside of the band. | ||
