The ring is large but not cumbersome or too flashy. The color of the tanzanite is a fine and saturated purple-blue. There are even delicate lavender-pink flashes as the facets catch the light. The tanzanite is well protected in the basket setting with the four sets of triple prongs which hold the stone securely. The band is simple and adorned with 6 full cut round diamonds on each side.
