It is just over 4 carats in size and has a medium cornflower blue with a tiny hint of periwinkle. We have found that sapphires with a slightly lighter tone like this one are the most sparkly. The sapphire is beautifully cut and eye clean. The size, color, clarity and cutting all make this a one of a kind sapphire, worthy of that special place on her finger. The diamond halo consists of 20 diamonds and frames the sapphire perfectly. There are another 6 diamonds on each side in the band. The entire top of the ring is covered with beautiful glistening diamonds. The overall ring design is simple and the diamonds definitely turn the wow factor up a notch!
