| Special Features: | The intense vivid cornflower blue colors in Ceylon sapphires are very rare and whenever we come across one, we always consider it for our fine collection of sapphire rings. When we found this sapphire, we were first mesmerized by the color. The cutting and clarity are superb as well, particularly given the size of the gem. Fine quality gem material is cut very sparingly to preserve the overall weight of the gem and it's often that we see beautiful colored sapphires with inferior cuts. But this amazing gem is an exception. It has a very nice cut and is not too deep (so you're not paying for weight you can't see!). The sapphire is nearly loupe (10x magnification) clean and this is evident in the transparency and sparkle you see when the facets catch the light. We think that you truly will be 'wowed' by this sapphire. It is framed with very fine quality round diamonds with a milgrain edging. The intense color of the sapphire contrasts beautifully with the 18k white gold setting and the amazing color just pops. Additional diamonds are set in the detailed gallery beneath the stone and down the band. The gold weight is a significant 7 grams which means that this ring hold up beautifully to daily wear and it will be extremely comfortable on the finger. This ring would make a stunning engagement ring for the lady who prefers a more substantial center stone. Or consider this for the right hand too; it will make quite a statement! | ||
