The color is truly inviting, a rich and intense cornflower blue with flashes of royal blue. It is absolutely stunning. The sapphire is eye clean and has a wonderful cut. This means that when the facets catch the light, the sapphire has a beautiful sparkle and brilliance (something you can't say about most sapphires). We wanted a knock-your-socks off setting that would showcase and complement the unique shape of the sapphire. The setting is done with nearly a full carat of round pave set diamonds and the sparkle factor is off the charts! This ring is definitely for the lady who wants her jewelry to be noticed. The diamonds are of very fine quality and it shows! They enhance the beauty and brilliance of the sapphire in a dramatic way. The pear shape is elegant and elongates the finger, and the crossover band gives the ring more presence without being too bulky.
