Such a traditional style but the unique pairing of the garnet and white sapphires creates a truly eye catching design. And the 14k yellow gold setting complements the color of the garnet beautifully. The garnet is diamond cut with brilliant style (triangle shaped) faceting on the pavilion and crown. The faceting combined with the clarity makes for a very lively gem. On each side is a pear shaped white sapphire, which is a great diamond alternative. White sapphires have a similar look to diamonds at a tiny fraction of the cost. And for those not wanting diamonds, this is a great option. The shank is done with engraving on three sides that extends toward the back.
