We love the antique inspired details in this elegant engagement ring,
featuring February's birthstone, amethyst. The amethyst itself
is 5.5mm in size, the same size (in millimeters) as a princess cut
diamond. It has a beautiful slightly pinkish purple hue. The cutting
of the gem is complemented by the pair of princess cut diamonds that
flank each side. The bead set diamonds and milgrain edging on the
band lends the old world feel to the design. Notice too the marquise
filigree pattern on the sides of the shank. The matching band is contoured to sit nicely against the
amethyst
ring. It has a total of 0.31 carats of fine diamonds and has the same diamond-studded marquise shaped design on the sides of the band as well. | ||
