The emerald cut ruby in this ring is very clear and transparent and has a gorgeous rich red color without the secondary pink or purple hues. The carat weight and the origin of the ruby are very important. Fine rubies at 2 carats and above are very rare and couple that with the ruby being of Burmese origin, this particular stone is extremely valuable and extremely difficult to find right now. This ruby is so special that we wanted to combine it with equally special diamonds. Trapezoid cut diamonds too are rare and not seen very often. The shape of the trapezoid so beautifully complements the cutting of the ruby that we just knew in combination, the ring would be breathtaking. The diamonds of very fine quality being near colorless and much better than eye clean! The elegant 18k white gold setting was custom made to fit these special stones and the result is absolute perfection!
