Although we think the diamond mounting for this ring is pretty amazing,
the real gem, quite literally, in this design is the unheated and untreated
cushion cut pink sapphire at
the center. The color is a perfect light pink. Not too pale, not too
lavender, not bubblegum. It's very elegant and feminine. The size and shape as
well are extremely hard to find so this is a very rare sapphire that comes
around once in a great while. The diamond halo setting helps draw the
eyes right to the gorgeous focal point. The setting has an open basket design which allows light to pass through and reflect from the sapphire.
From a practical standpoint, this allows
