Since blue zircons have a refractive index similar to that of a diamond, they are have a similar sparkle and brilliance. This elegant gem looks like an emerald cut blue diamond. The design of the setting is somewhat simple and features three large round diamonds (about 9 points each) on each side of the blue zircon. The emerald cutting of the zircon creates a streamlined, understated look and the round diamonds turn up the 'wow' factor.
