| Special Features: | This beautiful 6mm round sapphire has a very unique color. Yes, it is a wonderful light pink, but it also has flashes of peach and lavender, which is actually somewhat unusual for sapphire. In some lighting, the sapphire is definitely a peachy pink and in other lighting, it is decidedly lavender pink. To us, it is absolutely reminiscent of a pink diamond. The sapphire has a very nice cut, with no window, and it is much better than eye clean. The diamond halo setting is simple and not overdone. Since this is intended to be an every day ring, we wanted to add just a touch of sparkle. And we've done that with the 0.42 carats of diamonds in the halo and down the band. There are 15 diamonds around the sapphire and another 7 on each side. The diamonds are also of fine quality, both near colorless and better than eye clean. The basket setting is open allowing light to reflect from within the sapphire and from a practical standpoint, allowing the gem to be cleaned easily as well. The matching band is contoured to sit flush against the sapphire ring. | ||
