The sapphire is a nice size (2.43 cts) oval with one of the most beautiful bright pink colors we have seen. The gem has an amazing intensity and saturation but it's not too dark. The sapphire has a very nice cut and is also eye clean. The setting is adorned with just a touch of diamonds surrounding the sapphire and accenting the three row band. The triple row shank is just over 6mm wide tapering to about 2.5mm wide at the back. And we think that it is important to point out the workmanship of this special engagement ring as well. It is made with about 6 grams of gold so it is solid and sturdy. The diamonds are carefully hand set andthe sapphire has substantial prongs so that you can be confident the ring will stand up nicely to a lifetime of wear. | ||
