It begins with this very fine quality princess cut aquamarine that is 8mm in size. 8mm princess cuts are quite unusual, so much so that we need to have the gem custom cut for this ring design. The gorgeous light tone of this gem looks great on any skin tone and it can be considered a neutral that will go with any outfit. The aquamarine has a rich sky blue color and is lively, bright and better than eye clean. The engagement mounting is done with 0.50 ctw of fine diamonds set into the halo and on the top of the band. The sides of band are finished with beaded edging and note the beautiful filigree detail in the gallery beneath the aquamarine. The ring has a nice gram weight at just over 5 grams. This is a great, wearable and durable weight, just what you would want for an engagement ring.
