The yellow sapphire is a gorgeous 3.06 ct natural and unheated gem, mined in Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon). The sapphire has a very nice cut and is better than eye clean. The color, clarity and sparkle are reminiscent of a fancy yellow diamond! The setting is adorned with just a touch of diamonds for an easy to wear-daytime look. Diamonds surround the sapphire and the diamond studded band is done in a split triple row design. The band is wide at just over 1/4 inch but also has a certain lightness to it because of the open shank. The detail and workmanship of the setting are just impeccable. | ||
