unique and eye catching, yet simple, design. We just love the east-west
orientation of the sapphire, the flat profile, and the nice width to the
band...all three of these attributes make for a very wearable and comfortable
design. But we don't want to overlook the truly beautiful and rare 1.04 carat
Ceylon sapphire featured at the center. Besides the hard to find radiant cut,
the color of this sapphire is truly special...a light cornflower blue with a
hint of periwinkle. The sapphire is lively and eye clean, and looks great in
bright light and dim light. Some sapphires are too dark and just not very
attractive in dim light, but this one will truly catch your eye wherever you
are. One either side of the sapphire are two channels of small baguette
diamonds and then a single round. The simplicity of the design and the low
profile make this ring great for an active person who doesn't want the fuss
of an ornate ring. And although the design is simple, the fine quality
sapphire and diamonds speak loud and clear.The matching band for our
GR-5637 works nicely with this ring.
