The sapphire has a medium tone so the color is beautiful is both bright and dim lighting. The diamond halo highlights the sapphire and provides the perfect touch of shimmer and shine. The sapphire and diamonds are quite an eyeful, but the ring gets even better with all of the lovely vintage style details including the filigree gallery and milgrain edging.If you are considering this as an engagement ring, you'll be happy to know that the sides of the ring are flat so a straight band will sit flush against the sapphire ring.
