This is a nice size for a gemstone center without being too big. The thicker prongs hold the gem securely. On each side are three fine quality round diamonds which add quite a lot of sparkle to the ring due to their large size. And since the design of the engagement ring is understated, the brilliance is much more tasteful than it is gaudy or overpowering.
