| Special Features: | The truly amazing color of this beautiful pink sapphire is what makes this ring so special. The sapphire is not just a pleasing pink but it also has a unique and rare peachy hue that looks quite a lot like the prized padparadscha sapphire. A true padparadscha sapphire is very costly and often times they are not cut very well (since the gem material is so valuable that cutters sacrifice cut to save the weight). Anyway, with this sapphire, you have the best of both worlds, a color very similar to padparadscha and a sapphire that is very well cut too. As a result, it is lively and the color uniformity throughout the stone is excellent as well. We selected a dressed-up halo style setting for the sapphire. The delightful scalloped border adds design interest but isn't too fussy. We don't want anything to take away from the gorgeous sapphire! The diamonds are of very nice quality and are near colorless and better than eye clean. The entire ring is refined, elegant and unique and would truly make an outstanding engagement ring. | ||
