At the center is a 6.8mm cushion cut pink sapphire with an inviting, pink diamond pink color. This sapphire looks just like a fancy pink diamond for a fraction of the price! The sapphire is much better than eye clean and very nicely cut. There are 0.40 cts of diamonds in the ring and the diamond halo surrounding the sapphire really draws the eye in. There are 18 brilliant cut round diamonds set around the sapphire and 9 on each side of the band. The setting has an open basket design which allows a lot of light to pass through and reflect from the sapphire. The overall design is simple and classic and for someone that is looking for a eye-catching piece without an ornate design, this particular style is an ideal choice. The profile (height of the stone off the finger) is just under 1/4" which makes this truly a wearable work of art. The basket of the setting tapers so that a contoured wedding band could be worn with this ring. We can easily custom make one for this ring by special request.
