and a superb cut, and is completely natural and untreated/unheated. Less than
1% of sapphires used in jewelry are unheated and a much smaller number are of this size and clarity. The sapphire
is from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and has a gorgeous medium cornflower blue color with delicate flashes of periwinkle.
The sapphire is much better than eye clean and is quite lively. With the surrounding diamonds, it is simply a
dazzling delight! The setting was custom made for this important sapphire. It has 1.27 carats of fine round
diamonds and a substantial amount of 18k white gold. The ring has a beautiful beveled filigree design on the sides
and is even finished with an undergallery. All of these things and the impeccable workmanship speak to the
superior quality of this piece. At every angle, this ring is amazing and worthy of attention. If you want
