At the center is a large, 2.79 ct cushion cut pink sapphire with a wonderful, bright bubble gum pink color. You cannot help but stare at this beautiful stone! The stone does have a couple of small inclusions that are visible under certain lighting conditions. We tried to capture the most noticeable inclusion in our photos and it can be seen at the 2-3 o'clock position in the first picture. Our buyer is very careful to only bring us the most beautiful and highest quality gems and we are offering this one because of the striking color and important size. Based on her experience, she strongly felt the the color and size of this special stone more than compensated for its natural birthmarks. We also wanted to emphasize that the price of this ring takes into consideration the quality of the sapphire. If the sapphire was eye clean, the ring would easily be 50% higher in price. The intricately carved band is accented on three sides with a symbolic, infinity style pattern. The carving is smooth and the ring feels comfortable between the fingers.
