| Special Features: | If you are looking for more of a simple, classic design, with an important sized and gorgeous light pink sapphire, this ring is definitely worthy of a second look. The sapphire is nearly 4 carats in size and is cut into an elongated oval. This elegant shape is very flattering on the finger. The color is a soft pale pink, quite similar to the color of a rare pink diamond. The clarity of the sapphire is excellent with a couple of very small inclusions that may be noticeable under certain lighting conditions. The two inclusions are located at the perimeter of the sapphire so there is nothing in the center and majority of the stone that would detract from its overall beauty. Even though this beautiful sapphire does have a couple of tiny birthmarks, we strongly felt that the size, cutting, and amazing color more than compensated for them. The setting is simple with four shared prong set diamonds on each side. The basket holding the sapphire is done with four sets of double prongs to ensure that the sapphire is held securely, and the profile of the setting (height off the finger) is low so this is a comfortable wearable design. | ||
