The sapphire is eye clean and looks amazing as the focal point of this wearable design. If you are hard on your jewelry, we would strongly recommend this piece. Not only is sapphire the hardest gemstone, but it is bezel set for added protection and the ring has a low profile (it sits only 1/8" off the finger). This is a ring that you can put on in the morning and not give it a second thought (unless you want to admire it) until you take it off.
