Summary: Layaway Non-Refundable Amounts

• For 3 payment layaway plans, 10% of the original purchase amount is non-refundable.

• For 6 payment layaway plans, 20% of the original purchase amount is non-refundable.

Please note that these amounts are NOT in addition to any non-refundable amounts for ring sizing or non-refundable amounts for special orders. The higher of the layaway cancellation/return fee, non-refundable amounts for ring sizing, or any non-refundable amounts for special orders will be used in determining any your refund.  See examples below.

Examples: Layaway Non-Refundable Amount Calculation

Example 1: You wish to purchase a ring with a price of $1999 and non-refundable amount of $200 for ring sizing. If you choose to purchase this ring with the 3 payment layaway plan (10% is non-refundable), If the layaway is cancelled or the item is returned, $199.90 (10%) would be retained. The $100 non-refundable amount for the ring sizing is waived.

Example 2: You wish to purchase a special order ring (like an eternity band) with a price of $2499 with a 20% non-refundable deposit. If you choose to purchase this ring with the 3 payment layaway plan (10% non-refundable amount), $499.80 (20%) would be retained. In this case, since the non-refundable amount is greater than the layaway non-refundable amounts, the layaway non-refundable amounts is waived and only the special order non-refundable amount applies.
