| Special Features: | This ring is, without question, one of the most stunning rings we offer. It sounds like a cliche, but words truly cannot express the beauty and elegance of this ring. It begins with a large emerald cut yellow sapphire with a stunning medium lemon yellow color which could easily be mistaken for a very expensive, natural yellow diamond. This pure yellow color, without the golden, orange, or brownish tones, is the most expensive and desirable color for yellow sapphire. The sapphire has great brilliance and sparkle and is very well cut. And even more desirable is the fact that this sapphire is also completely natural and free from heat treatment. This beautiful color is the color that Mother Earth created. The sapphire does have one tiny birthmark that is visible at the very edge of the stone at the 3 o'clock position. The inclusion is a tiny white feather 1mm long and about 0.2mm wide. It is very small and in our opinion, does not detract from the overall beauty of the gem. Considering the fact that this sapphire is unheated, and over 3 1/2 carats and has such a desirable color, we felt that these qualities more than compensated for the birthmark. This absolutely spectacular sapphire is the perfect focal point of this mounting that is just dripping in high quality micropave set diamonds which glisten and dance in two rows around the sapphire and also down the band. The gallery has detailed piercing, and additional diamonds are set where the gallery touches the finger. The ring is also finished with fine milgrain edging throughout which lends a slight antique flair. The entire look is one of refined elegance and sophistication. The ring is somewhat large and was designed for that special lady who enjoys dramatic, statement-making pieces. | ||
