great size, at 1.72 cts, and is completely natural, free from any
heat treatment. Less than 1% of sapphires used in jewelry are
unheated! The sapphire has no visible flaws, and has a gorgeous,
sparkly light to medium cornflower blue color. The
setting features fine baguette diamonds on either side with small
round diamonds in the band. We have set the sapphire in a
18k yellow gold setting with a warm glow that complements the color
of the sapphire perfectly. The basket is adorned with
tiny round diamonds that sit below the sapphire. You will feel very
comfortable wearing this ring with the four sets of
double prongs that hold the sapphire securely. And the edges of the band
