And we have taken the look one step further and used an absolutely breathtaking cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire as the focal point at the center! The sapphire is just over 2 1/2 carats, extremely well cut, eye and loupe clean, and quite simply a knock-out. The sapphire has great luster and brilliance, something that only the finest sapphires have. The color is a perfect cornflower blue, not too dark, not too light. It's just dazzling. The fine trillion diamonds on each side are over 1/4 ct each (0.29 cts each) and are the ideal size accents to the oval sapphire. The diamonds are also of very fine quality; they are near colorless and better than eye clean. The sapphire and diamonds have been set in a luxurious platinum mounting that is extremely comfortable. Platinum is a rare and beautiful naturally white metal that is easy to care for and will not discolor or wear away.
