There are not many
sapphires that have as a rich and stunning color as this one. For
those preferring the slightly darker sapphires, this one is most
definitely an ideal choice. The sapphire has an amazing depth of
color with royal cornflower blue flashes and you'd better look out
when you take this beauty outside! The color is one of the most
beautiful we have seen. The sapphire has a certain glow to it that
only the finest sapphires have. The sapphire is a large 2.08 cts and
is also eye clean. We didn't want any ordinary setting for
this one of a kind sapphire, and so we selected an elegant and
sophisticated mounting that looks as if it had been custom made to
fit the stone. If you love your diamonds as much as your precious
gems, then this mounting will really catch your eye. First, the
sapphire itself is surrounded by round diamonds. Then the gallery
which forms the basket to hold is sapphire is done in a combination
of round diamonds and spectacular tapered baguettes. And if that's
not enough, the band in covered from end to end on three sides with
bead set round diamonds. There is a small sizing bar at the back to
allow for ring sizing. The workmanship on this piece is impeccable
and the ring is finished with milgrain edging which adds a slight
antique feel to the design. If you are looking for a true gem
