the clarity is excellent. We have rated the clarity VS1 which means that this sapphire does have a couple of tiny (nearly unnoticeable) birthmarks. Truly,
the sapphire is so sparkly that you just don't see the flaws unless you turn the ring at a certain angle and look very hard for them. We are confident
