When we found this new parcel of rubies, we knew we wanted to find a
simple setting, one that would be the perfect backdrop to showcase
these magnificent stones. Rubies so often are cloudy, opaque, and not
terribly lively, but the ruby we have used in this ring is just the
opposite. It has amazing transparency and is exceptionally clean. And
the color is a rich glorious red. So delicious! Tapered channel
set baguette diamonds are set on either side of the ruby and balance
the look beautifully. Four round diamonds are set down the band that
also has a delicate scalloped and milgrain edge. Although the ring is
understated in its design, we did not skimp of the quality of the ruby
or the diamonds! Once you see this in person, you will see what a
special piece this really is.
