This is a very special ring! At the center is a rare, 2.16 carat unheated blue sapphire that is completely natural and free from treatment (except the cutting).
Less than 1% of all sapphires used in jewelry are unheated! The sapphire is from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and these sapphires are known for their brilliance and
sparkle. The sapphire is very beautifully cut and is better than eye clean. It has a medium cornflower blue color which looks amazing under both
natural and incandescent lighting. The sapphire
is accented on each side by three large round diamonds which add a perfect dose of sparkle and flash to this ring. These beautiful stones are set into a pinched shank design band
which widens slightly towards the back.
Sapphires are the hardest gemstone which makes them an excellent
choice for any ring that will be worn often. |
