The sapphire is a fabulous size, extremely well cut, eye clean, and quite simply a knock-out. The color is a gorgeous medium lemon-banana. This is the color from Mother Earth and it is very reminiscent of a canary yellow diamond. The fine trillion diamonds on each side are just about 1/4 ct each and are the perfect accents to the cushion cut sapphire. The sapphire and diamonds have been set in a luxurious platinum mounting that is a substantial 7.2 grams. The band is not too wide making the ring very comfortable. Platinum is a rare and beautiful, naturally white metal that is easy to care for and will not discolor or wear away over a lifetime.
