The sapphire is just over 2 carats, extremely well cut, eye and loupe clean, and quite simply a knock-out. The color is an intense yellow with hints of both lemon and golden yellow. The fine trillion diamonds on each side are over 1/4 ct each and are the perfect accents to the oval sapphire. The sapphire and diamonds have been set in a luxurious platinum mounting that is a substantial 7.8 grams. The band is not too wide making the ring very comfortable. Platinum is a rare and beautiful naturally white metal that is easy to care for and will not discolor or wear away over a lifetime.
