The sapphire has a delightful pastel pink color and it is reminiscent of a pink diamond. The sapphire is eye clean and very nearly 100% loupe clean too. And at just over 2 carats, this sapphire is a rare gem indeed. The setting is delicate and features tiny fully faceted round diamonds set in two rows around the sapphire. To maintain the delicate appearance while offering a nice balance to the overall ring design, the band is done with a split shank. Diamonds are set about half way down the band. This ring is very striking and eye catching, without being gaudy or flashy.
