	Special Features:	Radiant cut sapphires of this size are extremely rare, and even more so when you take into account the exceptional cutting and brilliance of this gem. The sapphire has a delightful medium pastel pink color in indoor light and outside, the color lightens slightly and it is reminiscent of a pink diamond. The sapphire is completely eye clean and very nearly 100% loupe clean too. And at almost 3 carats, this sapphire is a rare gem indeed. We have only one ring like this so the pictures you see are of the actual ring for sale. You can see that it is truly elegant and inviting. The setting is delicate and features tiny fully faceted round diamonds set in two rows around the sapphire. To maintain the delicate appearance while offering a nice balance to the overall ring design, the band is done with a split shank. Diamonds are set about half way down the band. This ring is very striking and eye catching, without being gaudy or flashy. So if you looking for a one of a kind ring, and you like your jewelry to be noticed, but you also don't want to look like you're trying too hard, this magnificent ring is the perfect choice. The basket of the setting tapers so that a contoured wedding band could be worn with this ring.
