What makes this sapphire even more special and rare is the fact that it is completely natural and free from heat treatment. Less than 1% of all sapphires used in jewelry are unheated and to find one that is large, exceptionally well cut and eye clean, is truly a rarity. The setting features baguette diamonds on either side which complement the faceting of the sapphire. We have set the sapphire in a luxurious 18k white gold setting, and the basket is adorned with tiny round diamonds and milgrain edging. The four sets of double prongs hold the stone securely! The white gold setting shows off just what fine quality the baguette and larger round diamonds are. The band is finished with milgrain edging and hand engraved detail on the sides.
