yellow sapphire in this ring not only has a very difficult to find square
cushion cut, but even more special is that it is completely natural and
unheated! It is extremely rare for a sapphire to be completely
natural and free from heat treatment. The sapphire has an amazing cut with
excellent proportions and this is readily evident when you look at the
stone. There is no window and as the ring moves on your finger, you can
see how beautifully all the facets catch the light. The sapphire is also
eye clean! The mounting we have selected showcases this special gem
perfectly. The setting is encrusted with diamonds that surround the
sapphire and then more diamonds are bead set on three sides down the band. The
side gallery has a unique zig zag pattern spotted with tube set diamonds. The milgrain edging adds a slight vintage feel to the
piece, and the ring is finished off with a beautiful undergallery.
This means that it is very smooth and comfortable on the finger. Sapphires
are the hardest gemstone and are ideal for any ring that will be worn
