MyJewelrySource offers both Swiss Blue and London Blue Topaz gemstone rings. Blue topaz is the birthstone for November and ranges in color from a light sky blue to an intense deep ocean blue.
Topaz is a great every day gemstone because it has a good hardness (a
rating of 8 on the Mohs hardness scale) and is inexpensive (when
compared to many other gemstones). So we offer a gorgeous collection of
wearable, durable blue topaz rings with either diamond or white sapphire
accents. One of our enduring classics is our
and GR-6040. These
rings feature 8mm checkerboard faceted Swiss or London Blue Topaz set in
a heavy basket with thicker prongs. The band is accented with a few
small full cut round diamonds set in square and marquise stations.
Another easy design we have is our custom 8mm cushion cut and trillion cut
three stone ring done with blue topaz and white sapphires,
GR-6086. We love the elegance and simplicity of this ring. It is
striking but not fussy and the fine quality gemstones are prominently
displayed in a symbolic design.Enhancements: Although cutting is the most basic enhancement method necessary to display the beauty of a gemstone,
there are many fascinating methods by which man has demonstrated his ability to draw maximum color, luster,
clarity and brilliance from natures earthbound treasures. A basic understanding of these enhancement techniques
will add to your appreciation of the beauty, durability and value of the
gemstone jewelry you already own, or plan to
purchase in the future. Most blue topaz is heated and
chemically treated to bring out the vibrant blue color. This treatment is substantially permanent and is
acceptable in the trade. You should assume that the blue topaz sold at MyJewelrySource is treated unless
stated otherwise.Blue Topaz care: Do not use an ultrasonic cleaner on your
blue topaz jewelry. Avoid sudden
temperature changes, steaming and contact with cosmetics, hairspray, perfume or household chemicals. Clean only
with a damp cloth or soft brush with room temperature water.
